As a public service to Volusia County residents, the Museum of Arts and Sciences offers free admission on the first Tuesday of each month. Free admission does not apply to special events or traveling exhibits which may be in process at the time of your visit. Proof of Volusia County residency required.

2. Halifax Historical Museum
The focus of the museum is to present the history of the greater Daytona Beach area with artifacts dating from 5,000 B.C. including the local Native Americans, the Spanish and British colonial eras, early pioneer families, beach auto racing, World War II and vintage toys. The Museum offers a research facility with old city directories, documents and maps as well as an extensive photographic and postcard collection.

Ormond Memorial Art Museum and Gardens (OMAM) is a U.S. Code Title 26 Section 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, registered with the State of Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, Registration Number: SC07333, and has been in operation since 1946. The mission of the Ormond Memorial Art Museum and Gardens is to be a museum serving the community of Ormond Beach and its visitors by offering exhibitions of Florida, regional, national and international artists; to advance the appreciation and awareness of the arts through classes, lectures and demonstrations; and to develop collaborative programs utilizing the Emmons cottage and surrounding Gardens as a botanical, ecological and historical showcase.

5. Southeast Museum of Photography
The museum is now in a major new growth phase. Our goals are to significantly expand our educational programming and services and to add to the range of the permanent collection. We are in the midst of developing plans to expand our schools and children’s programs, our college curriculum service and our membership activities. We were fortunate to have had great success with our exhibitions and with expanding public programs.
